When Parents Join

You are supporting the organization who puts in more than 16,000 volunteer hours through our programs, support and involvement, which enhances the campus environment, classroom learning and support for our students and campus staff.
You receive discounts from the State and National PTA organizations. Here are some of the companies who provide discounts to PTSA members: Hertz, AARP, LifeLock, Metlife, Quicken Loans, Staples, Sylvan Learning, TeenSafe, Aquarium of the Pacific, California Academy of Sciences, Comcast, Legoland and TrueCar.
You receive our email updates, which is only available to PTSA Members. Communication is vitally important, especially in High School. We spend a great deal of time gathering as much information as we can get our hands on to try to keep you informed in all aspects of High School and ACHS.

When Students Join

They are eligible to apply for senior scholarships.
They can attend meetings and become involved in PTSA events. This leads to teamwork, project planning, leadership skills and more.
They can earn volunteer hours.

About Platinum Membership

For the greatest impact, consider becoming a "Platinum Member" by joining all Camarillo PTA/PTSAs. Platinum PTA Members are members of all 10 PTA/PTSA schools in Camarillo. Membership fees are $100/annually.

Platinum PTA Members receive:

  • Recognition in our Camarillo PTA/PTSA school newsletters & websites (reaching over 5500 Camarillo Families)
  • Recognition at our Camarillo PTA Council Association Meetings
  • Recognition at our annual Camarillo PTA Council Honorary Service Awards Dinner that honors individuals and businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the education and welfare of our Camarillo students
